Alabama announces changes to future schedules

The Alabama Crimson Tide have announced changes to their future schedule for the 2026 and 2027 seasons.
The Crimson Tide’s game versus USF has been moved, and they will add Chattanooga and Marshall to their future schedules. Alabama and USF had been scheduled for the 2026 season, but will now play in 2032. UA is replacing the 2026 USF game with Chattanooga on next year’s schedule. Alabama has also added Marshall to its 2027 schedule.

USF head coach Alex Golesh was recently hired by the Auburn Tigers, and his departure leaves the South Florida program with some uncertainty moving forward. What looked like a solid contest for the Tide is now up in the air.
For Golesh, he will still get his chance to take down the Crimson Tide, but it won’t be USF versus Alabama. It will be in the Iron Bowl when Auburn takes on Alabama next year.
The 2026 season marks the SEC’s first year with a 9-game conference schedule. Alabama went 7-1 in conference play in 2025, earning a spot in the SEC Championship Game.
