Trey Sanders, a 2019 athlete from Port St. Joe, Fla., announced his commitment to Alabama after the team’s spring game.

Sanders, the Tide’s first 2019 pledge, chose Alabama over Auburn, Florida, Florida State and Georgia. He isn’t ranked by any of the recruiting agencies yet, but he’s regarded as one of the top athletes in the country for his class. Sanders is just a freshman.
