Alabama insider Chase Goodbread of AL.com has been plugged into the Crimson Tide’s coordinator search this offseason, which landed OC Tommy Rees and DC Kevin Steele for Nick Saban’s staff.

But could a change be coming to the defensive coordinator spot in the not-too-distant future?

On Tuesday’s edition of “The Paul Finebaum Show,” Goodbread said he believes former Alabama DC and ex-Tennessee head coach Jeremy Pruitt will eventually end up back at Alabama:

Pruitt, obviously, is facing NCAA sanctions from his time at Tennessee. But once he deals with those, he could potentially return to the SEC.

He has a history of working well with Nick Saban, so it wouldn’t be a surprise, as Goodbread said, to see him back in Tuscaloosa at some point in the next few years.
