Alabama named the Student-Athletes of the Week for Week 11.
The 3 players were offensive lineman Jaeden Roberts, quarterback Bryce Young, and linebacker Ian Jackson. These players were recognized for their performance on the field and in the classroom.

This weekly award factors academic and football success for players. For the entire Alabama team, it was a positive week after the 30-24 win over Ole Miss in Week 11. The 3 players stepped up for the team and helped Alabama win a critical game in SEC play.
That win eliminated Ole Miss from winning the SEC West. Young played a significant role in the win with 209 passing yards and 3 touchdowns. Young completed 21 of 33 attempted passes. His performance in Week 11 added to his stellar 2022 season. Young has passed for 2,443 yards, 22 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions in 2022.
Ole Miss sacked Young 3 times, but Alabama’s offensive lined worked tirelessly to protect Young for 4 quarters. Roberts was a factor in protecting Young and opening up the running game. Alabama rushed for 108 yards in the game.
Jackson was not a major contributor in the Ole Miss game but he made a difference in the classroom. Jackson was recognized for his ability to balance being an athlete and a great student.
