The Alabama Crimson Tide rolled once again against the Tennessee Volunteers under the lights in Tuscaloosa this past Saturday in a dominant 37-20 win against one of their most hated rivals.
Ty Simpson and the Alabama offense both had another massive game against the Vols, and first year offensive coordinator Ryan Grubb opened up his Monday presser by thanking the Crimson Tide fanbase for creating an electric atmosphere that helped give his guys an edge in the game.
“I just want to thank the fans,” Grubb said, per On3’s Charlie Porter. “I’ve coached in the NFL, top-five games, national championship games. That was the most electric atmosphere I’ve ever seen. Roll Tide.”
Grubb has been around the game for a very long time, and coached in just about every big-time matchup their is to find in the sport. The fact that the Alabama crowd on Saturday was the best he’s experienced across all of his years as a coach speaks volumes to how elite the Tide fanbase was against Tennessee.
Head coach Kalen DeBoer and Grubb have reinvigorated the program following a disappointing first year at the helm during 2024, and the Crimson Tide fans are making it very clear that the love what they are seeing by packing out Bryant-Denny Stadium every home game, and causing havoc for opposing teams.
