Alabama OL Parker Brailsford announces 2026 NFL Draft decision
The Alabama Crimson Tide‘s 2025 season did not end in a fashion that anyone associated with the team has hoped. A blowout loss to Indiana in the Rose Bowl, even after a victory over Oklahoma to begin the College Football Playoff, was unacceptable to the people of Tuscaloosa. But, for better or worse, that game will be offensive lineman Parker Brailsford’s last as a member of their squad.
Early Monday morning, Brailsford took to Instagram to announce he would be entering the 2026 NFL Draft. The decision comes after 4 years of college football — including a 2022 redshirt campaign — and 3 seasons of solid play for Kalen DeBoer (1 at Washington, 2 at Alabama).
“First off, I want to thank God for putting me in the position I am today. I am eternally grateful to play the game that I love and have the opportunity to chase my dreams,” Brailsford wrote. “I am excited to announce that I will be declaring for the 2026 NFL Draft.”
Brailsford is the No. 118 overall prospect in the 2026 NFL Draft, according to Yahoo! Sports. If this ranking held, Brailsford would be selected in the middle of the fourth round of this year’s event. The 2026 NFL Draft, held in Pittsburgh, runs from Apr. 23-25.
