Alabama parts ways with offensive position coach after two seasons, per report

Alabama has reportedly made another change to its coaching staff after its first-round exit from the College Football Playoff.
Chris Kapilovic, the Crimson Tide’s offensive line coach for the past two seasons, has been relieved of his duties, according to 247Sports’ Alex Scarborough.
Kapilovic came to Tuscaloosa with a wide range of offensive line coaching experience. Before his time at Alabama, he was at Michigan State for four seasons, serving not only as offensive line coach but also as associate head coach and run game coordinator. That came after a one-year stint at Colorado and seven seasons at North Carolina, where he served as co-offensive coordinator in 2014 and 2015. Kapilovic has also coached at Southern Miss, Missouri State, and Alabama State.
One of Kapilovic’s top players within Alabama’s offensive front was Tyler Booker, a first-team All-SEC selection in 2024. Booker later became a first-round pick for the Dallas Cowboys. Another, Kadyn Proctor, was second-team all-conference in 2024 before securing first-team accolades in 2025. He is widely expected to be a mid-to-late first-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft.
Center Parker Brailsford, who declared for the draft with a year of eligibility remaining, was a third-team All-SEC pick in 2025.
