Alabama releases electric preseason hype video ahead of Florida State game
Alabama is ready to prove the doubters wrong.
That much is clear following the release of a new preseason hype video on Wednesday morning. To mark 10 days before Alabama’s first game of the year, the Crimson Tide’s new hype video features offseason commentary from the likes of Danny Kanell and even former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy.
“I don’t feel that confident this year after what we saw last year,” Kanell says in the video.
McElroy shared a similar sentiment that was captured by Alabama’s social media team as well.
“Here’s what concerns me. This year’s team does not have the same type of depth that they’ve had in the past when they’ve won National Championships,” McElroy said.
Of course, the video also includes some remarkable headlines from stars such as Ryan Williams as well as a clip of a speech from Kalen DeBoer. Here’s the video:
Alabama is hoping to take a big step forward next season under DeBoer. The Crimson Tide went 9-3 last regular season, missing out on the College Football Playoff by just one spot. Alabama has national title aspirations as it looks to get back on track in 2025.
Alabama will open the 2025 season against Florida State in Tallahassee on Aug. 30. The Crimson Tide are double-digit favorites in that game according to the latest college football odds from a variety of the best sports betting apps.
Kickoff in Week 1 is set for 3:30 p.m. ET.
