Alabama has its schedule set for the 2026 season, and the team will open the year against East Carolina on Sept. 5. The schedule features the usual big games against Tennessee, Georgia and Auburn.
Another one of the biggest games in 2026 will be against Texas A&M, and the school announced on Thursday that the Oct. 24 matchup with the Aggies will be the homecoming game this year.
These two teams were two of the best teams in the SEC last year, as they both made it to the College Football Playoff. Both teams figure to once again be among the best teams in all of college football, and this game could have a major impact on whether or not the teams make it back to the CFP.
The last two times these teams played was in 2023, when the Crimson Tide held on for a 26-20 victory in College Station. The last three matchups have all been decided by six points or fewer, and Alabama leads the all-time series with a record of 13-3.
Alabama all-time has a record of 89-14-1 in homecoming games, but will be looking to bounce back after losing last season to the Oklahoma Sooners.
