Arch Manning reverses course, will appear in EA Sports College Football 25
Arch Manning will be in EA Sports College Football 25 after all.
It was previously reported that Manning would not be opting into the game this year. However, he seems to have reversed course on that decision.
On Tuesday, EA Sports released a short promo video featuring Manning and his uncle, Eli Manning, to announce his presence in the game.

All players had the opportunity to opt-in to EA Sports’ player compensation agreement. Players who opt-in and are selected to have their name, image and likeness appear in the game will receive $600 and a free copy of the game.
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Manning received an additional NIL package to help promote the game. Nakos’ report says Manning is set to earn between $50,000 and $60,000 in his agreement with EA Sports.
Manning is expected to be the backup for Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers again this season. Ewers, one of EA Sports’ cover athletes for this game, returns to UT as one of the nation’s best quarterbacks in 2024.
However, Manning is in line to become Texas’ starter in 2025. A former 5-star prospect, Manning is entering his second season of collegiate action in 2024. He redshirted last year and attempted just 5 passes for the Longhorns, mostly serving as their 3rd-string QB.
Texas will open the 2024 season against Colorado State on Aug. 31.
