No. 1 Arkansas baseball (41-10, 21-8 SEC) claimed the regular-season SEC championship with a thrilling 4-3 walk-off win over No. 9 Florida (35-18, 17-12 SEC) in Game 2 of the final series.
The Razorbacks trailed 3-2 down to their last four outs facing Gators weekend-starter-turned-reliever Jack Leftwich. Robert Moore then launched a two-strike solo homer to right field, making it a 3-3 game.

After Kevin Kopps struck out the side in the top half of the ninth inning, Casey Opitz led off with a double and advanced to third on a fielding miscue. Pinch hitter Charlie Welch then delivered the game-winning hit, scoring Opitz to give the Hogs their first SEC title since 2004 and first outright overall title since 1999.
