Arkansas lands JUCO transfer for 2026 roster

Arkansas has made a late addition to its 2026 roster.

While there’s no spring portal this year at the NCAA level, there are still a few players transferring. On Monday, the Razorbacks added a JUCO defensive back with a transfer commitment from Jathan Hatch.

Hatch heads to Fayetteville from East Mississippi Community College. He is listed on the EMCC roster as measuring 6-2 and 190.

As a transfer prospect, Hatch collected offers from Arkansas, Southern Miss, Troy, UNLV and UT Martin. On social media, Hatch posted about April visits to LSU and Arkansas.

Last season, Hatch played in 10 games. He recorded 51 total tackles, including 27 solo stops. Hatch also added a fumble recovery.

Hatch was considered a freshman at EMCC. His college football career began in 2024 at Louisville. Out of Corinth (Mississippi) Biggersville High School, he was rated 3-stars, the No. 27 player in Mississippi, No. 99 safety and No. 977 prospect overall in the Class of 2024 on the 247Sports Composite.

Out of high school, Hatch signed with Louisville, also receiving offers from Kentucky, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, Southern Miss and Tulane. Hatch’s Louisville bio shows that he had 1 tackle in his season with the Cardinals.
