Arkansas reportedly set to hire new CB coach after Sam Carter’s departure
By Adam Spencer
Published:
Arkansas lost CB coach Sam Carter to Ole Miss earlier this week, leaving an opening on Sam Pittman’s defensive staff.
It apparently didn’t take long for the Razorbacks to find their new assistant, though.
Per Matt Zenitz of On3 Sports, Arkansas is hiring Dominique Bowman away from Marshall to serve in the CB coach role in 2022 and beyond:
Arkansas is set to hire Marshall’s Dominique Bowman as cornerbacks coach, sources tell @on3sports. First reported by @zach_barnett.
Before Marshall, Bowman was a co-defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach at UT-Martin and Austin Peay.https://t.co/k5bN5NhJoE

Bowman has experience at Marshall, UT-Martin and Austin Peay during his career, rising to the co-defensive coordinator role at the latter 2 stops.
Carter is taking over for Terrell Buckley at Ole Miss. Now, Bowman will fill that same job at Arkansas after Carter spent the last 2 years on staff in Fayetteville.
