Auburn was without RB Kamryn Pettway, the SEC’s leading rusher, in Saturday’s 13-7 loss to Georgia due to a quadricep injury.

Offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee addressed the media Sunday night, and wasn’t sure if Pettway would return next week against Alabama A&M.

“It’s possible. I don’t know,” Lashlee told reporters, per Auburn Undercover’s Ryan Black. “He hasn’t been ruled out. We’ll see how he goes day-to-day.”

Lashlee conceded that it’s more likely Pettway won’t play on Saturday.

“Is it probably more likely that he is out (Saturday)? Yeah,” Lashlee said. “But he’s not ruled out.”

Pettway leads the conference with 1,106 yards and 138.3 yards per game.
