Auburn’s 1,000-yard rusher Kamryn Pettway suffered an injury last week in the narrow victory over Vanderbilt.

Whilst running for a potential score, Pettway pulled up after injuring his leg and was taken down from behind. He didn’t practice Tuesday, and it’s been unknown as to whether he’ll play in a significant game this weekend against Georgia.

On Wednesday (per 247Sports), offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee offered an update on his star rusher:

“He was out there. He was dressed out. At this point he’s day to day.”

Pettway reportedly participated in drills and made it through unscathed. Should he not be fully healthy, it appears as if fellow running back Kerryon Johnson is ready to go:

On the year, the duo have combined for 1,722 yards and 16 touchdowns. Johnson in particular has accrued 616 yards and nine scores.
