Auburn entered Week 2 with a lot of momentum coming off an exciting 17-16 win against Baylor, where the Tigers stopped a last-second two-point conversion by the Bears.
The Tigers are looking to build off that win when they take on the Southern Miss Golden Eagles in Week 2. However, Mother Nature had other plans — Auburn‘s Week 2 contest was delayed due to lightning:

Regardless of when the two teams are able to kick off, the Tigers will be looking to get another win. Golesh is in his first year as the coach at Auburn, after a successful run as the coach at USF. He brought many players from USF to Auburn, with that group being led by quarterback Byrum Brown.
In the opener against Baylor, he completed 21-of-27 for 259 yards, but he also threw three interceptions. The Bulls might have been able to overcome that when he was at USF, but he will have to limit the turnovers as the Tigers get to the SEC portion of their schedule.
Right now, there isn’t a set time for kickoff, but the radar looks promising that this game will get started soon.
