Video: Alabama high schooler has punt return for the ages

One play can make you famous.
Lakeside High School senior running back and cornerback Desmon Richards made one of the best punt returns you’ll see in high school football. Too bad it was called back to due a block in the back penalty. Nonetheless, it doesn’t take away any of the entertainment factor surrounding the play.
The Eufala, Ala., native took it back 68 yards, but he ran more like 125 while he was weaving away from defenders.

Through three games, Richards has rushed for 599 yards on 43 carries (13.9 yards per carry). He isn’t currently ranked by 247Sports, but if he keeps making plays like this, people will take notice.
