The Big 12 conference is pulling out all the stops for its upcoming basketball tournament in March. The conference will play its tournament on an LED GlassFloor, which changes in real-time as the game is being played.
As the Big 12 points out in their post below, this will be the first time that LED court technology will be used for official competition in the United State. NBA all-star events featured a similar technology a few years ago.
Here’s a quick look at what you can expect:
The Big 12 tournament is set to tip off on March 10 and conclude on March 14, the day before Selection Sunday. The game will take place at the T-Mobile Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
Like the SEC, the Big 12 is wide open this year. Arizona, Houston, Iowa State and Kansas are all in the running for the top seed in the tournament. According to various latest bracketology projections, eight Big 12 teams are currently in the field if the season ended today, also including BYU, Texas Tech, TCU and UCF.
