Boo Carter, 4-star 2024 ATH, names 4 SEC teams in top 12

Boo Carter has narrowed down his choices to 12 schools with LSU, Ole Miss, Kentucky and Tennessee making the cut.

Carter shared his full top 12 Thursday on Twitter:

Carter is a 4-star athlete who plays both running back and cornerback at Chattanooga Christian High School. He’s listed as a Top 300 player in the 247 Composite and is a top 5 player in the state of Tennessee. He currently is rated as the 34th best athlete in the 2024 class. The in-state Vols seem to be leading for Carter, with 2 visits already.

The Chattanooga Times Free Press noted this summer that Carter been a standout at a several camps where he ran an outstanding 4.39 40-yard dash and showcased his speed by beating other nationally ranked recruits in 1-on-1s during a Volunteer’s workout.

In only 8 games as a sophomore, Carter rushed for 1,197 yards with 1,500 total yards on the season. He scored 22 touchdowns and averaged close to 11 yards per game. As a corner, he recorded 51 solo tackles and had 4 interceptions.

So far this season, Carter has continued to grow and looks to add to his rankings with the remainder of his high school campaign.
