A bus with members of the Georgia support staff on it was involved in an accident on Friday afternoon as it traveled to Auburn for Saturday night’s game, but no injuries were reported, according to a Georgia university spokesman.

The bus was hit by another vehicle as it made its way south along Highway 316 toward I-85. The members of the staff who were on the bus that was hit will be put on a new bus, according to the Georgia spokesman.

The bus involved in the accident did not include any Bulldog players. The players and coaches were scheduled to fly out of Athens later on Friday afternoon for the Saturday primetime matchup. The “Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry” will kick off at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

Georgia officials released this statement on Friday’s accident:

Georgia and Auburn will meet for the 130th time on Saturday, with the Bulldogs owning a 65-56-8 edge in a rivalry that dates back to 1892. Auburn won that first meeting, 10-0, and Georgia owned last year’s game in Athens, beating the Tigers, 31-13.

The Bulldogs are currently a 3.5-point favorite on the road in Saturday night’s showdown, per the latest college football odds.
