After being carted off, South Carolina WR Terry Googer is heading back to Kyle Field
South Carolina already lost a major contributor to its receiving corps when wide receiver Deebo Samuel broke aย bone in his foot against Kentucky earlier in the season.
Now, the same position group looks to have lost more depth. Saturday night, Terry Googer was injured against Texas A&M and taken off on a medical cart to a hospital. It was a scary situation for those who were watching.
Luckily, South Carolina coach Will Muschamp gave some good news on his status at halftime.
โHe took a pretty good shot,โ coach Will Muschamp said on SEC Network at halftime. โHeโs going to be fine. Heโs fine at the hospital.โ
Googer’s status has been updated once again.
Update: Terry Googer has been cleared from the hospital & is on his way back to Kyle Field. Continued thoughts & prayers, #GamecockNation
