The Missouri Tigers have announced that they have re-signed left tackle Cayden Green for the 2026 season.

Green has spent the past two seasons with the Tigers as a starting offensive lineman after transferring from Oklahoma.

After beginning his Mizzou career at left guard, he made the move to left tackle in 2025. He allowed just seven pressures this season for the Tigers, according to Pro Football Focus.

Green only allowed 2 sacks and 3 hurries in all of the 2025 season. He also earned a pass block grade of 89.6 from PFF, which represented an improvement from his mark in 2024.

Green could have entered the transfer portal again and been one of the top available offensive lineman this offseason. He also was eligible to enter the 2026 NFL Draft, but instead will return to Columbia for another season with Mizzou.

Missouri is hoping to take a big step forward on offense in 2026 after the Tigers struggled on that side of the ball for much of the 2025 campaign. Former Ole Miss quarterback Austin Simmons has already been brought in to help lead the Mizzou offense next fall.
