Cederian Morgan, the No.1 overall prospect out of Alabama in the Class of 2026, announced on Wednesday evening that he will decide his college commitment on July 2.

Morgan is a 5-star WR, standing 6-4 and 210 pounds, hailing from Alexander City, Alabama – just about 25 miles northwest of Auburn. He has offers from the best of the best programs in the country, but the top 2 contenders for Morgan’s services are the 2 in-state foes, Alabama and Auburn. Colorado, Clemson, Georgia and Florida are also considered contenders for Morgan.

Morgan is listed as the No. 16 overall prospect in the country according to 247Sports, as well as the No. 2 wide receiver behind only LSU commit Tristen Keys.

Morgan has received quite a few predictions for where he will land on July 2. A pair of 247Sports analysts predict that Morgan will commit to Auburn while analyst Tom Loy predicts that Morgan will pledge to Alabama.

Alabama currently has 0 wide receiver commitments in its 2026 class, while Auburn has 2 – 4-star Devin Carter and 3-star Denairius Gray. Morgan has official visits planned to Alabama on June 19 a week after a visit to Auburn on June 13.
