CFB fans were not here for halftime show with Imagine Dragons and Lil Wayne

The halftime show for Monday night’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game wasn’t even at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara.

No, instead, Imagine Dragons took the stage alongside Lil Wayne more than 40 miles north of the stadium in San Francisco, and honestly, it’s probably a good thing they weren’t at the stadium.

That’s because, while both musical acts are very popular, college football fans weren’t exactly thrilled with the show. Imagine Dragons has had an ESPN college football theme song for what seems like forever, and there’s some definite fatigue from fans regarding them.

As you can see below, fans took to Twitter to blast the not-so-great performance that wasn’t even in Santa Clara:
