Chidera Uzo-Diribe joined Georgia as an outside linebackers coach as the Bulldogs emerged as one of the premier programs in the country. During his time in Athens, nothing changed as they won another national championship and won three more SEC Championships.
Uzo-Diribe has continued to develop into one of the best assistant coaches in college football, and he is now leaving for the NFL to be the linebackers coach for the Dallas Cowboys.
On Wednesday night, he sent a thank-you message to the Georgia fans.
“There is too much to be thankful and grateful for. This place has done more for me and my family than we can ever imagine. We want to thank the Georgia community and the people of Athens! This place has taken my family in with open arms and allowed us to call it HOME. This place has changed my family’s life and career forever, and I can’t thank y’all enough. The University of Georgia is the premier institution in college athletics. We are forever thankful for this place, and it will always hold a special place in our hearts.”
THANK YOU UGA
