These videos never fail to disappoint.
During a recent team meeting, first-year head coach Clark Lea addressed his team and discussed the importance of this year for the program.
“This is the most important year in the history of Vanderbilt football and each of us has ownership in that.”
It was more than just lip service, Lea had a surprise in mind for senior defensive back Camden Coleman, senior punter Harrison Smith and sophomore linebacker Michael Spencer.
He put all three on scholarship while getting choked up leading up to the big moment.

Lea also shared these comments in response to the video:
Few people understand the journey of a walk-on player.
I do.
There aren’t three more deserving people in all of college football.
Grateful for all they have done, and all they will continue to do to build into this program.
Thanks boys, and congratulations! https://t.co/ri0YTlztww
