Clemson just made a huge addition to its 2027 recruiting class.
The Tigers picked up a pledge from 4-star defensive lineman Seth Tillman on Saturday afternoon. Clemson beat out several top programs for his pledge, including SEC rivals such as Georgia and South Carolina.

Tillman is a South Carolina native and has long been a priority target for Dabo Swinney’s staff in the class of 2027. He’s regarded as the No. 127 overall player and the No. 13 defensive lineman in the nation for this cycle, per 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 3 player from the state of South Carolina.
Tillman attends South Pointe High School in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He’s listed at 6-foot-2, 294 pounds.
Tillman took an official visit to Clemson back in June prior to making this decision. He also made a trip to Athens earlier this year, but ultimately chose to play for the Tigers.
Clemson now has 24 commitments in its 2027 recruiting class. The group ranks No. 14 nationally, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
