Ticket holders will be asked to scan an app each time. Coastal is calling it the CCU Kickoff Meal Deal, stating every fan at every football game can always eat free.
Our fans are the heartbeat of Teal Nation, and we’re always looking for ways to elevate their game day experience,” Coastal Carolina athletic director Chance Miller said in a release. “With the CCU Kickoff Meal Deal, we’re excited to offer free concessions this fall as a way to say thank you for the energy, passion and support they bring to Brooks Stadium every game.
Coastal Carolina is coming off a 6-7 season in 2024 that saw the team play UTSA in the Myrtle Beach Bowl. The Chanticleers open the 2025 season at Virginia on Aug. 30. The home schedule includes games against Charleston Southern (Sept. 6), East Carolina (Sept. 30), ULM (Oct. 11), Marshall (Oct. 30), Georgia State (Nov. 8) and James Madison (Nov. 29).
For those wondering, Coastal Carolina averaged about 20,000 fans at home games last season. That number may go up with the opportunity to eat free at the game.
