Big 12 football will have an appearance abroad next season. According to The Post and Courier, Arizona State and Kansas will clash in London at Wembley Stadium in the Union Jack Classic on Sept. 19, 2026.

The first-ever college football game in England is part of a multi-year deal for the Union Jack Classic. There are ongoing talks about another 2 Big 12 matchups in upcoming Union Jack Classic games.

The Big 12 is making a major push to garner global appeal and this is a huge step in that direction.

“We’re having conversations with other countries throughout the world that are very interested in bringing the Big 12 to their marketplace,” Big 12 commissioner Brett Yormark said during football media days in July.

Wembley Stadium has hosted 34 NFL games dating back to 2007. The largest crowd was 86,651 last season for the Jacksonville Jaguars vs. New England Patriots.

Arizona State defeated Kansas 35-31 in Temple last season in the first-ever matchup between the programs.

Arizona State is off to a 2-1 start this season and will head to Baylor in Week 4 (7:30 p.m. ET/FOX). Kansas also has a 2-1 record and hosts West Virginia on Saturday (6 p.m./FS1).
