College Football Playoff announces rankings release schedule for 2025 season

The College Football Playoff selection committee has announced its rankings release schedule for the upcoming season.
Rankings will be revealed beginning in November on Tuesday nights with a live show on ESPN. The final rankings will be revealed on Sunday, Dec. 7 at noon eastern.
Here are the times throughout the season that the CFP rankings will be unveiled.
- November 4, 8-8:45 p.m. ET
- November 11, 7-8 p.m. ET
- November 18, 8:30-9 p.m. ET
- November 25, 7-8 p.m. ET
- December 2, 7-7:30 p.m. ET
- December 7, 12-3 p.m. ET
The announcement on December 7 will be when the CFP committee announced the 12-team playoff bracket and where the games will be played at. This is also when all the other bowl games will be announced as well.
The start to the march towards the College Football Playoff gets underway on Saturday with some Week 0 games. The marquee game of the weekend is a Big 12 tilt between Iowa State and Kansas State from Dublin, Ireland.
The College Football Playoff selection committee also announced on Wednesday that it was making some changes to how they do things with regards to strength-of-schedule and strength of records metrics.
