College GameDay is heading to Columbia. ESPN announced Thursday that the women’s edition of the pregame show will broadcast live ahead of the SEC clash between No. 5 LSU and No. 2 South Carolina.

It is 1 of 5 on-campus stops scheduled for the pregame show. Elle Duncan is in her third season as host. She is joined by analysts Andraya Carter and Chiney Ogwumike.

We could not be more excited to tip off this season of College GameDay with this top-5 matchup between the Tigers and Gamecocks. Our team continuously looks for new and innovative ways to showcase this dynamic sport and the special players we see on a day-to-day basis,” ESPN senior vice president of sports production Meg Aronowitz said in a release. “The voices of Elle, Andraya and Chiney will only add to the passion we look forward to seeing from each fan base this season.

South Carolina is 16-1 on the season. Dawn Staley’s team suffered a rare loss in November at UCLA, but the Gamecocks have gotten back on track, winning 11 in a row. The defending national champions face Alabama on Thursday and Oklahoma on Sunday.

Kim Mulkey’s LSU squad is off to an undefeated start. The 19-0 Tigers face Florida on Sunday before the showdown with the Gamecocks.

Next week’s showdown is set for an 8 p.m. ET tipoff on ESPN. GameDay will begin at 7 p.m. ET.
