Colorado disrespects Oregon midfield logo… 2 weeks after complaints Nebraska did the same
Colorado took exception with Nebraska head coach Matt Rhule holding a team prayer at midfield — on the Buffs’ logo — when the Huskers visited Folsom Field in Week 2. CU quarterback Shedeur Sanders said Rhule showed extreme disrespect before that game.
Those comments might come back to haunt the Buffs if they come up on the wrong end of the scoreboard Saturday in Eugene, Oregon.
Former Oregon football player Bryson Young tweeted out a short clip Saturday morning of Colorado’s team doing a standard walk-through of the Ducks’ stadium upon arrival. Most players were taking in the sights.
One player decided to rake up the midfield logo after smiling for the camera.
Listen I’m not in Oregon’s locker room anymore but this is the type of sh*t that fires me up. That O represents a ton of hard work, sacrifice, and success from so many people. Walking over/raking up an opponent’s logo shows zero class. #goducks Enough said. pic.twitter.com/sdcNOIDPTe

Colorado has jumped at every opportunity to use doubt or perceived disrespect as fuel for the fire throughout its start.
Deion Sanders tried to trademark “It’s Personal” this week — a phrase he had Colorado fans reciting back to him on command last week when he took the set of ESPN’s College GameDay.
Colorado has certainly adopted the “us against the world” mentality of its head coach. Through three games, it has galvanized the team. CU is ranked 19th nationally and heads into Pac-12 play as one of the most improved teams in college football — if not the most.
But the No. 10 Oregon Ducks provide the toughest test yet. Oregon is 29-2 at home since 2018. The Buffs enter as a 21-point underdog.
Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC.
