Chest is a Top 100 prospect and the No. 17 rated power forward in the 2023 cycle. He’s also considered to be the No. 1 overall prospect from the state of Louisiana, making Chest a priority for McMahon and company on Day 1 of his arrival from Murray State.
Chest is McMahon and LSU’s first commitment in the 2023 cycle. The Tigers have also been hotly recruiting 4-star point guard AJ Johnson and 4-star small forward Dennis Parker.
