Mike Patrick and color commentator Ed Cunningham shared broadcasting duties for Kentuckyโ€™s 41-38 victory over Louisville on Saturday. And even though the Wildcats looked good while recording their first win over the Cardinals since 2010, according to the Twitterverse, the same couldnโ€™t be said about the ESPN duo:

Palmer, Musburger lay an “Egg” on air

Jesse Palmer had the call along with SEC Network play-by-play man Brent Musburger for last Saturdayโ€™s Egg Bowl. And while quarterback Nick Fitzgerald had a tremendous game to lead Mississippi State to a 55-20 victory over Ole Miss, Bulldogs fans were less than impressed with Palmerโ€™s performance:

To be fair, viewer criticism wasnโ€™t limited to Palmer. Fans took to Twitter to take shots at Musburger as well:

Not everyone is glad with Brad

Brad Nessler, with CBS broadcast partner Aaron Taylor, called Missouriโ€™s 28-24 victory over Arkansas on Friday. For the most part, his return to the college football air waves has gotten favorable reviews on social media, but the veteran play-by-play guy also happens to have a few detractors:

Viewers don’t particularly care for Ware

Andre Ware and play-by-play guy Tom Hart were the broadcasters for Saturday nightโ€™s Tennessee-Vanderbilt matchup on SEC Network. And as viewers watched the Commodores rally for their 45-34 victory, they couldnโ€™t rally behind what Ware was saying:

Not exactly bowled over by Danielson

Last but not least, weโ€™d be remiss if we didnโ€™t mention CBSโ€™ Verne Lundquist and Gary Danielson. In what was Uncle Verneโ€™s last Iron Bowl broadcast, Alabama pounded Auburn, 30-12, and tweeters saved their vitriol for the longtime analyst:
