ESPN play-by-play voice Beth Mowins drew what ended up being a good game — last Saturdayโ€™s 21-20 victory by Arkansas over Louisiana Tech.

However, she also drew an ugly response from SECย fans on social media.

Though manyย never really did a good job of articulating exactly why they disliked the job Mowins was doing, that didnโ€™t stop SECย fans from blasting her on Twitter:

And thatโ€™s just a small sample. There were many, many more with the same sentiment.

Granted, Mowins is no Keith Jackson. She sometimes mispronounces a few names from time to time and sometimes is shaky when explaining some college football rules, but was her performance so bad that it warranted this type of criticism?

Musburger trolls Petrino

SEC Network play-by-play man Brent Musburger is always colorful and sometimes eclectic while calling games. Whether heโ€™s making veiled references to Vegas โ€” or commenting on the girlfriend of the quarterback โ€” Musburger delivers entertaining narratives.

During Saturdayโ€™s matchup between Clemson and Auburn, Musburger brought up Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino.

Petrino was involved in a controversial motorcycle crash in 2012. Even though Musburger didnโ€™t delve into the details, the mere mention of the Louisville coachโ€™s name was more than enough of a zinger. It was weird for him to go that route but definitely entertaining for viewers.

Domo arigato, Mr. Roboto

Last but not least, we thought ESPN’s Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit did a pretty good job during Monday night’s Ole Miss-Florida State broadcast. However, we found at least one person who does not share that view:
