Alabama has become a dynasty since Nick Saban took over the program back in 2007. Saban himself has six titles, five of which have come with the Crimson Tide.

As Saban prepares to go for title No. 7, his players know they are a part of something incredibly rare and special.

During the College Football Playoff National Championship Game Media Day on Saturday, RB Damien Harris said he’s thankful to be a part of such a legendary coach’s career:

“He’s the best mind, the best football mind, that’s ever been in the game,” Harris says. “There’s been nothing like it in the history of college football. It’s an extreme honor and I’m so thankful to have been a part of this. Sometimes we, as players, sit around and talk about, like, we’re really playing for the greatest coach ever. What he’s doing is the greatest ever and we just get to be a part of it.”

Harris has won two titles in his Alabama career already (2015 and 2017). He’ll go for his third ring on Monday night in Santa Clara.
