The depth chart in Fayetteville just took a hit.

Sophomore Daulton Hyatt just announced he plans on continuing his football career elsewhere after spending three seasons with the Razorbacks. Hyatt is looking for an opportunity to play quarterback after being moved to receiver by Chad Morris’ coaching staff.

Hyatt did not register any stats for the Razorbacks this season and had not practiced since August.

ESPN rated Hyatt as a four-star prospect and a top 150 overall recruit in the 2017 recruiting cycle while Scout listed Hyatt as the No. 1 quarterback prospect from the state of Alabama coming out of Etowah High School.

Hyatt announced the news on Friday with the following statement:

“First, I would like to say thank you to everyone who made it possible for me to attend the University of Arkansas to play the game I love. I’m very grateful for the memories and lifelong friends I have made here. I wish nothing but the best for my brothers in the future.

“After much thought and prayer with my family, I have decided to enter the transfer portal and continue to pursue playing quarterback.”
