Dayton Wade is moving on to the NFL after 2 seasons in Oxford.
But what a pair of seasons it was. Wade, who transferred from Western Kentucky in 2022, had a stellar year with the Rebels, totaling 52 receptions for 769 yards and 4 touchdowns. He totaled 27 receptions for 309 yards and 3 touchdowns in 2022 after totaling just 190 receiving yards at WKU across 3 seasons in Bowling Green.
He used his usual Dayton Wade charm to make his decision final, too.
“I’m outta here,” Wade told SEC Network. “I’m definitely going to have to pursue my dreams and go chase this NFL dream.”
According to 247Sports, Wade did intends to play in the upcoming Peach Bowl against Penn State.
Ole Miss WR Dayton Wade plans to forego his final season of eligibility to pursue a NFL career.
He does plan to play in the upcoming @CFAPeachBowl on December 30th in Atlanta.

Wade probably has the best hands on the Ole Miss team. He was known for making simply absurd catches during his time at Ole Miss, including this one below:
