Tony Paul of The Detroit News talked to John Yu, owner of Pro Sports Zone in Livonia, about the “Detroit Rams” gear.
“We got them in yesterday and they have been flying off the shelves,” Yu told Paul. “A really hot item.”
Detroit selected Stafford, a former Georgia standout, with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2009 NFL Draft. Stafford spent 12 seasons in Detroit, winning NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2011 and making the Pro Bowl in 2014. In 2019, Stafford was one of 39 Lions players named to the franchise’s All-Time Team.
In March 2021, Stafford was traded to the Rams. Stafford started all 17 games for the Rams in 2021, who went 12-5 in the regular season. This season, Stafford threw 41 touchdowns, tying his career-high from 2011.
