EA Sports announced “College Football is coming back” on Feb. 2, 2021. EA Sports’ previous college football video games were released under the “NCAA” name, with the last release coming in 2013 (“NCAA 2014”).
Previous reports indicated that the College Football game was set for a summer 2023 release, likely in July. EA Sports had partnered with Collegiate Licensing Company to authentically feature more than 100 institutions in the game. Northwestern and Notre Dame had previously stated they would not be part of the game.
