The LSU Tigers kicked off their spring practices on Sunday, and one of the biggest questions on everyone’s mind is who will replace Danny Etling as the starting quarterback.

Sophomore Myles Brennan is the favorite to land the job, but he’ll have competition from Lowell Narcisse and others this spring.

On Sunday, coach Ed Orgeron said he doesn’t have a starter right now, as it’s an open competition for the time being. He added that a decision likely won’t be made until this summer:

Brennan appeared in six games in 2017, completing 14 of his 24 pass attempts for 182 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Even though Coach O said he doesn’t anticipate naming a starter this spring, he’ll still likely face plenty of questions about the position as the offseason wears on.
