One of the biggest storylines heading into Tuesday’s Fiesta Bowl is LSU’s depleted secondary. All-American CB Greedy Williams has opted to avoid risking injury ahead of the NFL Draft. CB Kelvin Joseph did not make the trip to Arizona due to a violation of team rules. CB Kristian Fulton is unable due to injury.
Tigers coach Ed Orgeron joked that he might look to the Phoenix Zoo for help.
“You know, I was thinking about that orangutan,” Orgeron cracked during his Fiesta Bowl coaches press conference Monday. “Maybe he can give me a couple snaps tomorrow. Maybe we can use him at a couple of positions there.”
Orgeron was apparently made aware of the fact that an orangutan from the Phoenix Zoo will be asked to pick the winner of the LSU-UCF game.
