The Missouri Tigers face a tough task in becoming bowl-eligible as they go up against an Arkansas Razorbacks team that comes off a 42-27 upset victory over the Ole Miss Rebels.
One of Arkansas’ strongest assets is quarterback KJ Jefferson, who has not only shown some improvements as a passer, but presents a threat on the ground as well. Jefferson has completed 67.6% of his passes for 2,149 yards with 20 touchdowns and 3 interceptions this season.
He isn’t exactly easy to bring down either at 6-foot-3 and 242 pounds. He’s done damage on the rush throughout his career and during the 2022 season as he totals 472 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns on 125 carries this year.
Tigers head coach Eli Drinkwitz knows just what he’s going up against, too.
“Golly, I hope he’s graduating or going pro,” Drinkwitz said simply when asked about facing Jefferson.

It will be interesting to see what happens as Jefferson is just one member of an incredibly deep crop of quarterback this year. Arkansas and Mizzou are set to kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT at Faurot Field on Saturday.
