The Missouri Tigers face a brutal schedule this year, starting with a Week 1 home game against a juggernaut Alabama squad.
However, as the Tigers prepare for the first year under coach Eliah Drinkwitz, there is reason for optimism. Now, though, they’ll have to prepare without a pair of players.
Per Drinkwitz on Wednesday evening, WR Maurice Massey and DT Chris Daniels have both opted out of the 2020 season:

Both Massey and Daniels appeared in games last season, but neither recorded any stats.
Daniels is a redshirt senior. Massey is a redshirt freshman. Whether one or both of them return to Mizzou next year remains to be seen.
