Eli Manning shares his support for Ole Miss ahead of season opener vs. Florida

Eli Manning may be long removed from his time at Ole Miss, but he hasn’t stopped sharing his support for the Rebels.
On Thursday, Manning took to Twitter to do just that ahead of Ole Miss’ season opener on Saturday against Florida. The Rebels are hosting the No. 5-ranked Gators to kick off the 2020 campaign.
“It’s been awhile since I wore the uniform, but I still feel like I’m living every single snap alongside you all,” Manning tweeted, before throwing in a #HottyToddy at the end.
Manning played at Ole Miss from 2000-03. In his last two seasons, he led the Rebels to a pair of victories over the Gators.
If Ole Miss takes down Florida this year, it would be an upset. But the Rebels are entering a new era with Lane Kiffin as their head coach, and this will be a strong test for them to open the season under their new leadership.
And Ole Miss players can be sure that Manning, who is now retired after 16 NFL seasons, will be watching as the season kicks off.

The Rebels and Gators play Saturday at noon ET on ESPN.
