The 2026 NFL Draft isn’t until April. However, it’s never too early for sports talk shows to start speculating about who the first quarterback taken will be. Prior to the season, Texas quarterback Arch Manning was the favorite. Now, things have changed in a big way.

During Wednesday’s edition of Get Up, ESPN analyst Louis Riddick tabbed Oregon’s Dante Moore as the best quarterback prospect in the 2026 class. The 6-foot-3 redshirt sophomore from Detroit has passed for 1,210 yards with 14 touchdowns and 1 interception for undefeated No. 3 Oregon.

“Of the guys that I have seen, whether it be in person or on tape, it would be Dante Moore from Oregon,” Riddick said. “The way he played against Penn State. How big he is, how mobile he is, how confident he plays, the different arm angles he can throw from, on platform, off platform, he’s got the entire package.”

The electric Moore has risen to the occasion this season and will have another challenge against visiting No. 7 Indiana.

The undefeated Hoosiers will definitely pack a punch against Moore, as they possess the nation’s No. 3 defense for points per game (9.6). It’ll make for a fun battle against a flourishing Oregon offense that’s seventh in the country in points per game (47.0).

Indiana at Oregon is set for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff on CBS. The Ducks are a 7.5-point favorite, per BetMGM.
