ESPN announces addition of Chase Daniel to SEC Nation ahead of new-look lineup’s debut

Former Mizzou quarterback Chase Daniel has found himself at ESPN. On Wednesday, the World Wide Leader announced a multi-year extension for Daniel.

As part of Daniel’s new deal, he joins SEC Nation, the SEC Network’s traveling football pregame show. Daniel’s SEC Nation debut comes soon, as the show will be live from Tampa on July 19 ahead of SEC Media Days. Daniel will join Paul Finebaum, Tim Tebow, Roman Harper and new host Matt Barrie.

โ€œI am thrilled to join Theย Nationย team this fall and to have the opportunity to experience the unmatched energy of SEC crowds on campuses each week,โ€ Daniel said in a statement released via ESPN. โ€œHaving played for an SEC school and always admiring the fans of the conference, I am so grateful to be a part of this premier college football show and cannot wait to get to work!โ€

In addition to his SEC Nation duties, Daniels will continue to be a college football and NFL analyst for ESPN.

โ€œChase brings extensive football knowledge and an authentic perspective that will resonate with SEC fans. He will be a terrific addition to the Nation team,โ€ Meg Aronowitz, ESPN senior vice president of production, said in a released statement. โ€œWe are excited to welcome him to the desk and know he will make an immediate impact this fall.โ€
