ESPN has announced its commentary team on Sunday for the College Football Playoff clash between Miami and Texas A&M that will take place on Dec. 20 in College Station.

Calling the action from College Station will be play-by-play man Sean McDonough, with former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy serving as the analyst. Working the sidelines will be Molly McGrath and Taylor McGregor.

The first-round showdown between the 7th-seeded Aggies and 10th-seeded Hurricanes will kick off at noon ET and be broadcast on both ABC and ESPN. Kyle Field will likely be rocking a little extra from its normal insane level, considering the Playoff stakes, after Texas A&M turned in a memorable 11-1 regular season.

Miami takes a 10-2 record into the matchup, having to sweat out Selection Sunday but ultimately slipping into the Playoff bracket that was revealed. A little less than 2 weeks later, the Hurricanes will try to pull the upset in SEC country and advance to the quarterfinals.

The Aggies and Canes will battle to keep their dream alive of playing for the national title on Jan. 19 in Miami, where ESPN will also be when this Playoff journey comes to a dramatic conclusion and a championship trophy is on the line.

But before Texas A&M and Miami can get to that end point, they will have to begin the journey with a victory just to advance to the Playoff quarterfinals.
