No. 20 Texas is now on a 3-game winning streak after its furious rally to defeat Mississippi State 45-38 in overtime on Saturday. The Longhorns’ other victories also came during a 3-game winning streak after losing to Ohio State in their season opener.

ESPN experts have updated their bowl projections after Week 9. Kyle Bonagura now has Texas vs. Nebraska in the Music City Bowl in Nashville slated for Dec. 30. Meanwhile, Mark Schlabach is predicting a matchup between Texas and Michigan in the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl on Dec. 31 from Orlando.

The health of Texas’ quarterback Arch Manning will make a major difference in how the rest of the season unfolds. Manning reportedly sustained a concussion during the first play of overtime against Mississippi State. Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian is expected to give an update on Manning during his press conference on Monday.
