The first week of the College Football Playoff rankings loom Tuesday, with much volatility at the top of the rankings after Week 10.
Indiana, which was a surprise team in 2024 and began the season ranked No. 20, is undefeated and primed for 1 of the 2 top spots. Defending national champion Ohio State is also unbeaten and ranked No. 1 in the polls. Texas A&M is the lone unbeaten SEC team remaining and is a lock for 1 of the 3 top CFP spots.
But Top 10 losses taken by No. 8 Georgia Tech, No. 9 Vanderbilt and No. 10 Miami could open the doors for newcomers into the 12 CFP slots that will get chosen at season’s end.
